Constitutional Council, Office of the President
In 1831, the architect Pierre Fontaine built the Montpensier wing, at the southwest corner of the Royal Palace garden. Upstairs, the large apartment comprises a bedroom, fitted out for Princess Marie-Clotilde de Savoie, which has become the office of the President of the Constitutional Council.
In 2015, we completed the restoration of gypsum decorations. We designed, produced and laid a complementary carved decoration of gypsum in the periphery of the ceiling escutcheon, as well as a sculpted decor of the rinses on the six panels of parecloses (which had disappeared) using a mixed technique: gypsum and cardboard Stone.
Finally, we carried out a two-tone painting according to stratigraphy on all elevations.
