Villa D
In the context of the total restructuring of an old 19Th century house in the 16th arrondissement in Paris, the architect Serge Caillaud asked the Atelier to accompany him in the declension of a decorative project of the whole of the rooms of the House .
It was thought of as a cut of watercolored architecture, the reflection on the décor declining from top to bottom, passing from pieces to pieces. Travel made possible by the glass elevator which allows to read the wash.
From the basement pool to the rooftop workshop, all the rooms have been painted in specially created materials and textures:
Spa and swimming pool: creation of a bas-relief of 4.90 x 2.15 m patinated, morning painting on the walls
Dining room and kitchen: blue patina and Earth
Salon: gradient patina in warm tones
Master suite and guest area: more discreet patinas in soft tones
Workshop: paper checkerboard
All these decorations are decant on 6 levels, connected by a paint of Corten way rust.
